Education reform has left the public dazed and confused the last few years: No Child Left Behind, Common Core, testing, vouchers, charters, etc. It’s hard to know what to think, but many agree that we need better schools.
A new book from author and consultant David Osborne explores how we can have better schools by learning from innovators who are doing things different. “Reinventing America’s Schools: Creating a 21st Century School System” examines what’s happening at some of the fastest improving cities in the country to see how they’ve done it.
Osborne is speaking at Underground Books on Wednesday, Sept. 13, and he joins Beth Ruyak in studio.
