What can intergalactic warfare in Star Trek teach us about race relations in America? A special panel at the Crocker Art Museum Thursday night titled Race and Gender in Pop Culture will explore that question and many others.

It’s part of Crocker Con 2017, a night of comic book characters, cocktails and conversation. Panelists Michele Foss-Snowden, John Marcotte, and Eben Burgoon explore topics of race and gender in our current media climate.
