California has taken another major step in its opposition to the Trump administration with the passage of sancturary state legislation on Thursday.

State Senate President Kevin De Leon authored S.B. 54, which prevents local law enforcement agencies from coordinating with U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents to deport undocumented immigrants.
