Sacramento City Unified School District teachers have set a date for a potential strike. If the demands for smaller class sizes aren’t met as well as pay increases, teachers will step out of the classroom and onto the picket line come Wednesday.

It’s only the first few months for new district Superintendent Jorge Aguilar who has a vision for the school district to have greater equity and opportunity for all students. He lays out his vision as well as potential compromises to avert the strike.
