This February was the 75th anniversary of Executive Order 9066, interning all American citizens of Japanese decent. The only option to escape the camps, was to join the 442nd Combat Regiment. Artist Rob Sato and writers Phinneas Kiyomura and Koji Sakai have crafted a graphic novel dramatizing how they became the most decorated unit of it’s size in World War II.
