There seems to be a spotlight on the Sacramento art scene the past few years, and some would argue that the expansion of the city’s premiere art museum has a little something to do with it.
The Teel Family Pavilion, which opened in October 2010, expanded and transformed the Crocker Art Museum and began a community conversation about arts and culture in Sacramento.
The Crocker Museum is preparing to celebrate its 56th Ball this weekend, with entertainment by Hip Service. The museum's communications director Christine Calvin and education director Stacey Shelnut-Hendrick join us in studio to talk about the future of art education in our region.
