Yesterday, Mayor Darrell Steinberg, former Mayor Kevin Johnson and Sacramento Republic F.C. representatives made their case to Major League Soccer executives. Sacramento is competing alongside Nashville, Cincinnati and Detroit for two spots available in the MLS expansion.
