Lots of American families are living in the wake of natural disasters this year, caused by wildfires across California, and several hurricanes in the southeast.

Former Insight producer Jonathan Ayestas joined Beth Ruyak in studio to talk about his own experience living through a natural disaster. When Jonathan was 11, he and his family were living in New Orleans during Hurrican Katrina. This is the story of how Jonathan and his family escaped New Orleans in 2005.
