The movie "Wonder" has been popular and it’s still in theaters over the holidays. It’s about 10-year old Auggie Pullman who has a facial disorder that has prompted more than two dozen surgeries.

In northern California, Dr. Craig Senders performs this type of clip lip and cleft palate corrective surgeries, and 75 percent of his patients are children. He is the director of the UC Davis Cleft and Craniofacial Program and a pediatric surgeon at UC Davis Children’s Hospital.
