Ned Tibbits / Courtesy Thousands have travelled around the world to hike the incredible Pacific Crest Trail, stretching 2,600 miles from Canada to Mexico and across California, Oregon and Washington. The trail was created nearly 50 years ago and Mountain Education Director Ned Tibbits was among those hikers taking on the journey in its infantile stages in the 1970s. In a special fundraiser for the PCT in Auburn this Friday, Tibbits reflects on his experience and how the trail has transformed over the following decades.
