"Mary Janes: The Women Of Weed" Behind The Scenes Still / Courtesy Now in its 16th year, the Wild & Scenic Film Festival has become a cornerstone for environmental conservation and activism in Northern California. Beginning Thursday, thousands will come to Grass Valley and Nevada City for 4 days of film watching, activities and special events. One of the films screening at this year’s festival takes on a hot and timely topic – a cannabis documentary called "Mary Janes: The Women Of Weed." Producer and Director Windy Borman explores the movement to end marijuana prohibition, along with her own relationship to the plant. Borman shares her film and what she learned about women changing the cannabis business. We’ll also talk with Wild & Scenic Festival Director Melinda Booth.
