Mike McMullen has a long career as a jazz saxophonist, playing alongside greats like Ray Charles, Natalie Cole and Randy Brecker to name a few.

Now a professor of jazz music at Sacramento State, McMullen is releasing a new album entitled "Picture Book" with a special release show this weekend at Antiquité Maison Privée. The album pays tribute to his recently deceased mother and the many mentors in his life.

McMullen performs live in studio and shares stories from his new music.
