Sacramento’s Bacon Fest 7 kicks off Tuesday night with a series of events featuring bacon-themed dishes at top restaurants across Sacramento.
Founder Brian Guido started Bacon Fest seven years ago with the idea of creating farm-to-fork dishes at local restaurants around a specific dish at a time when business is slow. It’s transformed into a weeklong event with bacon milkshakes, a Kevin Bacon-themed dance party and the infamous Death Muffin, a pork sausage patty stuffed and wrapped with bacon.
