A full report has finally been released detailing allegations of sexual misconduct and sexual advances by California state Sen. Tony Mendoza.
Six women, including four former staffers, alleged Mendoza acted inappropriately with them, offering evenings alone in his hotel room or making other sexually suggestive comments. Mendoza argues the Senate Rules Committee hasn’t allowed him to respond with his side of the story and removing him from office for these allegations could set a dangerous precedent.
Capitol Bureau Chief Ben Adler explains what's in the report and the next steps are for the Legislature.
