Comedian Kiry Shabazz Gears Up For Cap City Comedy Slam

The Crest Theatre is hosting the Cap City Comedy Slam, a showcase of up-and-coming comedians from the region. Kiry Shabazz is one of the featured performers. He won the 14th annual StandUp NBC comedy competition in 2017. Shabazz stops by the Insight studio to share his comedy inspiration and talk about his approach to writing jokes.

The Cap City Comedy Slam at the Crest Theatre is March 2 and will feature performances by headliner Shabazz, Ellis Rodriguez, Kabir "Kabeezy" Singh, Glory Magaña and host Carlos Rodriguez.
