Sacramento hosts the sixth annual Food Film Festival beginning this week. The event will feature dozens of screenings, talks with filmmakers and tastings from local chefs.
Documentary filmmaker Lars Fuchs will present "Food City," which explores the filmmakers' journey to source a hyperlocal meal for eight using only foods that were farmed, fished or foraged within the limits of New York City. He joins Amber Stott, head of the Sacramento Food Literacy Center and founder of the Sacramento Food Film Festival, on Insight to discuss his film. We'll also hear about some of the other films and events scheduled through April 21.
