The California Museum is hosting a special event on Saturday, May 5, to launch an exhibit called "And Still We Rise In 2018: Race, Culture and Visual Conversations."
The exhibit runs through Sunday, May 27. It will explore four centuries of African-American history and the struggle for social justice through 67 story quilts crafted by artists in the Women of Color Quilters Network.
Artist Patricia Montgomery joins Insight to discuss her story quilt, which focuses on the Scottsboro Boys case of 1931. Events at the California Museum run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
