NPR International Correspondent Soraya Sarhaddi Nelson is visiting Sacramento this week. The award-winning journalist will talk with Insight host Beth Ruyak about her work, which at times can be dangerous and upredictable.

Currently based in Berlin, Germany, Nelson was the first woman journalist to cross the border into Afghanistan following the September 11, 2001, attacks and she’s filed stories from Gaza, Libya, Egypt, Syria, Iran, Ukraine and many other places.
