Sacramento jazz fusion group Mino Yanci (Me-Know Yan-see) has travelled to South by Southwest, the San Jose Jazz Festival and continue to perform their eclectic music across Northern California.
The band’s name translates from two African languages into “musical freedom.” The band joined Beth Ruyak in studio in April to talk about their music and play some songs. Mino Yanci is performing tonight at Concerts in the Park.
