Everything’s coming up roses for Broadway actress Carolee Carmello. Carmello is playing the title role of Mama Rose in the Music Circus production of “Gypsy.”
The classic musical runs through Sunday at the Wells Fargo Pavilion in Sacramento. Carmello is a veteran performer who has performed in 14 Broadway musicals and originated roles in “Tuck Everlasting” and “Finding Neverland.”
Performances of Gypsy are Tuesday, July 24 through Sunday, July 29 at the Wells Fargo Pavilion.
