The California Museum is opening a new exhibit of baseball history and artifacts from the Golden State’s best ballplayers. “California At Bat: America’s Pastime In The Golden State” features 200 treasures like uniforms and equipment used by Jackie Robinson, Joe DiMaggio, Willie Mays, Dusty Baker, and Sandy Koufax.
The exhibit opens July 29 and runs through the end of 2018. At the “Home Opener” event on July 29 from noon to 4 p.m., you can enjoy beer and food trucks and have your baseball memorabilia evaluated by experts.
Baseball historians Alan O’Connor and Stephen Wong join to share highlights from the exhibit.
