Fashionista Boyfriend Debuts ‘TONAL EP’

Fashionista Boyfriend (Austin Mooney, James Petropoulos, Casey Groat, Miles Taylor) performed “Atlas” live in the Insight studio with music from "TONAL EP" before the record release party.

Fashionista Boyfriend is a chillwave synthpop band from Sacramento. It started as a solo project for Casey Groat, and then he added James Petropoulos on bass, Myles Taylor on saxophone, and Austin Mooney on drums to the band to complete their live sound.  Groat released his first Fashionista Boyfriend record “Hypnophobia” in January 2018, followed by the “Hypnophobia Remixes” EP collaboration in May.

Fashionista Boyfriend will release "TONAL EP" on Saturday Aug. 4 at a joint record release party with Topograf.
