SUNMONKS made their first appearance on Insight in 2014 with their debut E.P., “In A Desert of Plenty.” They returned in 2017 with new music from their full-length follow up, “Two Play.” Geoffrey C.K. and Alexandra Steele came to the CapRadio Garden to record three music videos. They sat down with Beth Ruyak on Insight to talk about the new record and how they define their sound. You can see SUNMONKS perform this weekend at Daydream Festival 2018 at the Latino Center for Art and Culture. SUNMONKS recently announced that it will be one of their final live performances of 2018 (or maybe for all time?) so that they can refocus on producing albums and videos.
