How have California's butterfly populations been impacted by climate change? Dr. Art Shapiro and his research team have been monitoring butterflies at 10 sites along the Interstate 80 corridor for anywhere from 30 to 45 years.
They have studied a total of 163 species of butterflies to create a detailed database. Shapiro will be giving a presentation about the study's findings at Sierra College's Nevada County Campus on Sept. 11th at 6:30 p.m.
Shapiro joins Insight to talk about his study and preview next week's talk.
