Sac City Schools May Have To Make Big Cuts

The Sacramento City Unified School District will have to make big cuts in the next month to address a $24 million budget shortfall. The District was informed Aug. 22 that its budget for the year was disapproved by the Sacramento County Office of Education that its budget was disapproved.

Sacramento City Unified School Superintendent Jorge Aguilar and Board of Education President Jessie Ryan discuss the budget problem and how the district plans to address it.
