Herb Alpert Remembers His Tijuana Brass Days

Herb Alpert hit No. 1 on the Billboard charts for the first time in 1968 with the song “This Guy’s in Love With You.” Alpert is now 83 and he’s won nine Grammys and sold more than 72 million records worldwide. And he’s still touring.

Herb Alpert and vocalist Lani Hall will perform at the Gallo Center in Modesto this Sunday. CapRadio Jazz Music Director Gary Vercelli spoke with Alpert ahead of this weekend’s concert.
