Poet Mary Mackey is releasing a new book of poetry that includes an award-winning piece from 2012. “The Jaguars That Prowl Our Dreams” won the Pen Oakland Josephine Miles Award in 2012 and is included in this anthology along with some new work.
Mackey will launch the book with an event at 7 p.m. tonight at Time Tested Books in Sacramento. Mackey talks about the inspiration behind her poems and she will share some live.
