“A Conversation With Linda Ronstadt” is coming to the Harris Center for the Folsom Lake College Speakers Series. The multimedia journey traces her life in music from growing up in Arizona to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. In her 2013 memoir “Simple Dreams,” Ronstadt revealed she could no longer sing due to the effects of Parkinson’s Disease. She'll also be speaking on Oct. 25 at the Pioneer Center in Reno.
Ronstadt spoke with CapRadio’s Donna Apidone before her sold-out event on Friday Sept. 21 at 7:30 p.m. They talked about her musical childhood, working with everyone from Placido Domingo to Philip Glass to Rosemary Clooney, and more career highlights.
