Author Kamea Pascua is a second-year English major from Folsom Lake College. She contributes to the school newspaper and literary magazine. Her memoir story “Keep Your Mouth Shut” explores the feelings and experiences from surviving an abusive relationship with her ex-husband.
Pascua spoke with Beth Ruyak at length about that time in her life, using writing and meditation as a path to healing, and the process of coming to terms with her abuse.
