Opera Modesto Celebrates 35 Years With New Name And Artistic Director

Opera Modesto's new Artistic Director Roy Stevens toasts beautiful Albania as Skanderbeg in the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet of Albania.

Opera Modesto (formerly Townsend Opera) will mark a milestone this weekend with a 35th Anniversary Gala Celebration at the Gallo Center for the Arts on October 28 at 2:00 p.m.

Opera Modesto’s new General and Artistic Director Roy Stevens joins Insight to preview the Gala and their upcoming performance of Carmen in May 2019.
