Last Friday, the federal government published a major report on climate change that was all but buried by the Thanksgiving holiday. The latest from the National Climate Assessment paints a dire picture for the U.S. economy in the face of global climate change — including an increase in devastating and deadly wildfires like the one in Butte County —  and it runs counter to much of what the Trump Administration has been proclaiming.
