The National New Play Network is bringing the Rolling Premiere of  “Halftime With Don” by playwright Ken Weitzman to the B Street Theatre this month. The play tackles the mental and physical toll of a long professional football career on linebacker Don Devers.

His daughter sets up an interview with aspiring sports writer Ed Ryan, who tails Don for a week to write an all-access story on his life and career, but he realizes his sports idol has paid a price for athletic greatness. Actor Rich Hebert and Associate Artistic Director Lyndsay Burch join Insight to preview the new work.
