Dr. Michael McGrann, Chair of William Jessup University’s Institute for Biodiversity and the Environment, will lead a group of student researchers on a megatransect of the Pacific Crest Trail this summer.
They’ll hike from the Mojave Desert to the high Sierra just south of Yosemite National Park, studying the birds, reptiles and other organisms along their path to gauge how these species are adapting to climate change. McGrann joins us to talk about the project.
