The blues-rock trio Shotgun Sawyer returns to Insight with their second album “Bury The Hatchet.” The Auburn-based band self-released their debut record “Thunderchief” in 2016. They recently signed onto the Ripple Music record label, which is releasing the new album on April 19.
Shotgun Sawyer recorded the album “live” (with no edits or overdubs) on analog magnetic tape in a two-day long recording session in Visalia. They went on their first European tour last summer, and are planning to take the new album out on the road soon.
You can see Shotgun Sawyer perform new music at their upcoming shows:

- April 25 — Album Release Party at The Press Club in Sacramento
