CapRadio State Government Reporter Scott Rodd has completed a two-part story about the diversity of the attorneys working in the state Attorney General’s office. His reporting details that, because California is a majority minority state, the composition of the state’s attorney corps is very important for a number of reasons: if that staff isn’t reflective of the state, attorneys may ignore issues or concerns of certain communities or may not have proper insight to represent those communities.
Rodd joins us to discuss his findings about diversity in California Attorney General Xavier Becerra's office and more in this week's Capitol Chat.
