Just in time for Halloween, Modesto’s Central West Ballet is breathing life into a horror classic. Dracula is a full-length ballet that will tell Bram Stoker’s story on stage through dance. The company opens the show, which they describe as “the Halloween experience with a bite,” this weekend at Gallo Center for the Arts in Modesto.
Central West Ballet Artistic Director René Daveluy choreographed the show. First soloist Lacey Elliston will perform the lead role of Lucy Westenra in the production. Both will join Insight to discuss Dracula.
