Chris Brubeck is a Grammy-nominated composer and multi-instrumentalist. He plays in many different settings, from the symphonic concert stage to the Brubeck Brothers Quartet to Triple Play, an acoustic trio.  

He’ll be playing his “Concerto for Bass Trombone and Orchestra” in an upcoming concert with the Folsom Lake Symphony, this Saturday at 7:30 at the Harris Center in Folsom. The Folsom Lake Symphony will be playing under the direction of Music Director Peter Jaffe. Other pieces on Saturday’s program include Dave Brubeck’s “Unsquare Dance” and Rachmaninoff’s Symphony Number 2.
