There are many dangerous places in the world, but for millions of women, home may be the most dangerous of all. It sounds provocative and dramatic, but just ask author Rachel Louise Snyder.
She is an award-winning journalist and her latest book has sent some shock waves across the country. It’s called "No Visible Bruises: What We Don’t Know About Domestic Violence Can Kill Us," published in 2019.
Law enforcement agencies have been using the book for training and law schools and courts are using it, too.
Last week, Snyder was the keynote speaker at the Sacramento Regional Family Justice Center’s Annual Celebration of Hope Gala. Earlier in the day, she visited CapRadio’s studios for a conversation.
