It’s supposed to be the most wonderful time of the year. But, being homeless at the holidays presents many of the same challenges as any other time of year. So, where can women go, especially if they have children? And, at this time of year, does people’s generosity extend to those who are homeless?
The Wellspring Women’s Center is a place that welcomes women and children at all times of year. Its Executive Director Genelle Smith talks about what the center does and the services it provides. Smith is also involved in Mercy Pedlars, a bicycle ministry serving the homeless.
