The 18th annual Wild and Scenic Film Festival shows 140 films over five days. The films span a wide range of topics: from endangered animals and natural resources, to people embarking on challenging adventures to many aspects of people, flora and fauna in the outdoors. But there’s so much more than watching movies. There are events with artists, celebrities, filmmakers and photographers. There are walks and hikes, discussions about fire prevention, inclusivity and LGBTQ people’s intersections with the natural world.
The annual “Wild and Scenic” Film Festival, put on by the South Yuba River Citizens League, takes place from January 16-20, 2020 in Grass Valley and Nevada City.
