The race for the White House is a big story. And it does dominate the headlines. But Congress is still in session. 

This past week, news broke that the Russians may be trying to help both President Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders’ campaigns. About 10 days ago, a classified briefing on this topic took place in the House Intelligence Committee hearing, chaired by California Rep. Adam Schiff. The ranking member of that same committee is California Rep. Devin Nunes. Meanwhile, Nunes has several defamation lawsuits pending against a variety of entities.
