What would happen if Amelia Earhart and Sally Ride met? That is the premise of the B Street Family Theater original play "Ride Sally Ride: The Story of Amelia Earhart and Sally Ride."

The playwrights, Tara Sissom and Katerina Pruitt, both reside in Sacramento. “We hope to inspire with the message that ‘nothing is impossible’ and more importantly you don’t need permission from anyone to pursue your biggest and wildest dreams,” Sissom said.

The play is being performed through Feb. 29 during the day for school field trips, with a sensory-friendly performance on Feb. 29. You can find more information here.
