Sunday brought news of former South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg dropping out of the Democratic presidential race. Super Tuesday has become a major contest in the race to win delegates to become the nominee for either party. In this case, that person will likely be President Donald Trump’s challenger in November.
With the contents in Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada and South Carolina in the rear view mirror and with former Vice President Joe Biden’s win in South Carolina, Sen. Bernie Sanders has a real competitor on his hands. The questions coming out of Super Tuesday are: who will win and, based on that, who is likely to drop out?
