A 17-year old high school junior from Seattle, Avi Schiffman, built a website that tracks coronavirus cases globally.

The site, ncov2019.live, has been visited by more than 12 million people since it launched in late December and uses web-scraping technology to provide minute-to-minute updates.

We hear more on the database, how Schiffman built it, and what kind of impact it’s having.
