California’s experience with coronavirus is still evolving.
According to the University of Washington’s Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation, the state is projected to reach its peak for COVID-19 deaths this week, with an estimated 66 deaths.
It comes after California reported its first coronavirus case at the end of January.
