Two months ago, the co-owner of Mountain Slice Café and Creamery in Tahoe City, Alex Hunt, was deciding whether to close the doors on his pizza cafe. 

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Hunt wasn’t only considering a temporary closure of his cafe, but a permanent one. But he found a way to reinvent its pizza delivery, and business has been unexpectedly thriving during COVID-19 and stay-at-home orders. 

We talk with Hunt today about how the cafe is managing and the adjustments he’s had to make.
