Memorial Day is one week from today, a federal holiday in the United States created to remember people who have died while serving in the country’s armed services.
To honor those who fought in the Vietnam War, filmmaker Marc Waszkiewicz and musician Lea Jones collaborated on the documentary "Vietnam: An Inner View." Together they wrote and produced an album of original music for it, a photo book, and a memoir, all to capture the experience of war from the soldiers’ perspective.
We talk with Waszkiewicz and Jones today about the documentary and how it came together.
