UC Davis emergency medicine physician Dr. Nick Sawyer spent two weeks in New York City recently working at Elmhurst Hospital in its intensive care unit.
Dr. Sawyer volunteered to help after seeing how hard the disease was hitting the city. Today he details his experience treating COVID-19 patients.
