Poet Laureate Emeritus of Sacramento, educator and award-winning writer Indigo Moor has been living in Philadelphia this summer amid nationwide protests over racial injustice and the death of George Floyd.
Moor says he’s been learning as much as he’s contributing, and has written a new piece in response to the protests titled ‘Letter to Sacramento: A Riotous Anodyne.’
We talk with Moor about it today and what he’s learned in the time since Floyd’s death.
