The Sacramento City Council held a highly-anticipated meeting Wednesday night on police reform in the capital city.
Potential changes ranged from improved mental health treatment and new oversight positions, to drug testing police officers after the use of deadly force. The meeting comes amid a nationwide outcry for change in policing and the judicial system following the death of George Floyd in May while in Minneapolis police custody.
We talk about what happened at the council meeting, police reform and more with Sacramento Mayor Darrell Steinberg.
